Mr. W really wanted to see the Christmas lights and decorations around his village, but he hadn’t left his home for years. Our Carers were able to dress him in warm clothes and get him into his wheelchair. Just as it was getting dark, they took him out for a walk around his village. Mr. W ‘s face lit up when he saw how much effort his neighbours had put into decorating the village and their individual houses. His face was brighter than all the twinkling lights and he was smiling the whole time.
He talked about the walk for days to come telling all his carers how much he enjoyed it. We made his wish come true. To see our clients happy puts a smile on our faces too!
